About DI Why
DI why began as a little thought—one that grew alongside my children, Dhruv and Ilan.
My boys have always kept my mind busy with their endless questions. Why does this happen? What does this mean? Can I do this myself? Finding books that could answer those little questions, while helping their thoughts grow bigger and brighter, was sometimes challenging—but always something I loved doing.
And somewhere along the way, I found myself asking a question of my own:
Why not create them myself?
That little “Why not?” brought me here.
DI why is my way of bringing those everyday questions, feelings, traditions and little life lessons into books that children can understand, enjoy and make their own.
Because sometimes, a book gives you more than a few minutes of reading. It starts a conversation. It answers a little why. It sparks another. And somewhere between those pages, a child grows, a parent connects, and a little moment becomes a memory.
Here’s to little minds with big whys—and the conversations we hope they’ll remember.
